DMCA / Copyright Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
Workshop respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of this site to do the same. This policy explains how to report copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws.
Reporting infringement
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice to dmca@yourdomain.com with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material that you claim is infringing, including the URL or other specific location on this site where it appears.
- Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same email address. The counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the removed material and its location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the removal was a mistake.
- Your contact information, including name, address, telephone, and email.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts located within the jurisdiction where you reside (or, if outside the US, the federal courts located within the jurisdiction where Workshop's operator resides).
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Repeat infringers
We will terminate accounts of users who are found to repeatedly infringe others' copyrights.
Bad-faith notices
Section 512(f) of the DMCA provides that any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability. Do not submit a takedown notice unless you have a genuine good-faith belief that the material infringes.
Response time
We aim to respond to valid DMCA notices within 10 business days. Complex cases may take longer.
Designated agent
Workshop's designated copyright agent for notice of claimed infringement:
Email: dmca@yourdomain.com
Note: A physical address is available on request, but electronic notice
is preferred and accepted.
